Tis The Season

Ah traditions . . . a Thanksgiving/Christmas tradition that my mom has established is gifting us a new ornament each year. Each of the kids has a set of ornaments from their first five Christmas' and them some other sets or special ornaments that tell who they are that year. Our ornaments came by mail the other day. Brandon got him a very nice silver Corvette. Dawson received two bears fishing - as that is what him and Grandpa did while he was home this summer. Sophia's is a school bus as this is her first year in school and riding the bus. Gracie received the '3' in her series of bears and cookies for her first five. Jeff got a cup of coffee to go, and I have an adorable teddy bear family. I love traditions! Here are the kiddos hanging their ornaments on our tree . . . and Brandon and Grace at the end because 'someone' refused to have his picture taken putting an ornament on the tree.
