What is the deal?

What is the deal with my lack of blogging??? Why haven't I blogged in such a long time??? What could possibly be going on here that I can't type up a blog??? Well, let me give you a run down.
1) The kids were on a week long spring break. Brandon went to AZ on a mission trip, and the other three ran around the house crazy. We did get them two day trips in for break. Wednesday the five of us went to Rock City and Ruby Falls and had an amazing day. And Friday Jeff took them to the Boro to go swimming in the indoor pool at their rec center.
2) Jeff is still searching for the perfect job. God has given us a real peace about the situation and we know He will provide all our needs during this time.
3) The countdown to Brandon graduating continues to tick. May 22nd is the big day, with other activities starting the Sunday before. I guess we need to send out those invites here pretty soon. Huh? Brandon registered for classes at ETSU this last weekend. He and Jeff made the trip. Brandon is very excited at this point to get going, yet I think there is a bit of him that realizes this is a BIG deal he is about to embark on and is being very sweet at home. I love that boy and am so very proud of him.
4) I am being the admin for our youth for Beach Week. I am trying to organize 240 teens and adults into rooming assignments that they will love and enjoy for the entire week. We have been blessed because we prayed for 200 kids and we have hit that mark (and now are just below it). But we never thought we would take that many kids so we are becoming creative in the rooming situation.
5) Jeff and I will be going to Talladega this Sunday to take in our Spring Race. Last year, Kasey wrecked 6 laps into the race. He will NOT be doing that this year.
6) Soccer season is in full swing. Our Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays are occupied with all things soccer. Dawson and Sophia are both doing AWESOME of course! :-)
7) Old mama decided to give softball another swing this year. You can catch me playing on Thursday nights. This year is reminding me how I reject my body all year long and don't have it do anything - and then all the sudden I expect it to run, and squat, and throw. Hmmm, I wonder why I was so sore after the first week when we played a double header!?!?!
8) Easter has also happened since my last blog. The kids did the traditional Easter egg dying and Brandon created our family in eggs. It was very cute. We spend the day with friends and family and had an egg hunt and played games. The picture at the top is the best photo I could get of the day. Brandon had already left to get Easter donuts for everyone so it was just the younger three and they were just not into it this year.
9) Gracie has been staying home during the day with Jeff and I. She is now pretty well 99.9% potty trained. We still do a diaper at night so that is our next task. But it is very rare for her to have an accident.
10) Doesn't every rambling list have to go to 10 and have 10 things listed out? Can a list really stop at 9 and be correct? So what should I put in my number 10?? Ahhh . . . check out some of my new links on the side. One that I have added is for Korah. Our church has sent mission trips to this village and now many of our leaders are helping to start a sponsorship program. Our family will be sending a young boy to boarding school in the fall where he will have a room, clean clothes, and meals after having grown up in the dumps at Korah. Check out their link and pray about how you can help the children of Korah!
Okay, a good top 10 list of things is complete. I will try very hard to not make it so long until I post again. Hopefully soon I will have news of a job for Jeff, a picture of a sweet boy in Korah, and a excited graduate in his cap and gown!
